After many years of hard work, millions of £ in fundraisng, and several test flights, on 3-July-08 the restored Vulcan Bomber XH558 was granted her “Permit to Fly”. Seen here departing Bruntingthorpe airfield (her home for the last 15 years) on a trip to Waddington where she will perform her first airshow display since the early 90s.

A great reminder of why it was all worth it.
