The first A350 design was a modification, the current one is as new as the 787.

Typical Americans, try to overcome the facts with rhetoric. But who are they doing this for? The hard nosed airline operators and aircraft owners (not the same people) look at the facts rather than the adverts. The biggest 787 is 330 seats, the smallest A350 is 312 seats. They barely overlap. Boeing is betting less people will travel in the future, Airbus is betting the hub to hub market will need capacity. Time will tell, but a trashed economy may rescue Boeing.

The actual 787 plane and the model in the video are very different. The 787 is an A330, with the nose of the D.H. Comet, and the wings of an 777

This video is wrong for two main reasons.

1. After making fun of Airbus,Boeing have royally screwed up the 787 and we still dont know for sure when the 787 will fly. 2 years late and an even bigger screw up than the A380.

2.Boeing then go and do exactly what this vid makes fun of. They take a 40 year old airplane (the 747),stick new wings and engines on it and call it the B747-800(exactly what this video makes fun out of Airbus for doing)

ok im a boeing fan but i dont like the fact that they are building the 787 from composites and airbus is following also ill rather aluminum carbon fiber has a breaking point and when ur in flight and something goes wrong and its going to crash u will not live so i dont like what both are doing they need to switch back to all aluminum

Boeing is better, and will always be.

The MD12 was built in the early 90’s and the technology back then for fuel efficiency wasn’t good enough. That’s why now airlines are going for a jet like that and not back then.

And to be honest, I think it was a good thing that Boeing stopped the MD12 program since it would of cost to much for an airline to operate.

MD-12 just wasnt right enough. Either it wasnt safly designed not efficient.

What about the 787 Dreamliner? Have you thought of that?

By the way, that was a thing of the past. There was already the 747. So why bother buying the MD12 if airlines purchased the 747 in the first place.

And to be honest, they look exactly the same. So why would airlines now buy the A380 and not back then if they look alike?
