As a former Avionics “maintainer” I would wonder what happened to the mechanics…you know, those guys that killed those 21 folks. One would hope that they are doing some hard time. When you sign off those aircraft forms, you MUST know if what you did was CORRECT. I don’t care who tells you to “sign it off, it’s OK” - you have to have the balls to say NO! m. d. florida
there s a mistake in the actual calculation the copilot did: he counted 17 018, but according to the numbers he ’s additionning, the total is 17 258!! That is if I correctly read the numbers, because the quality of the video makes it difficult. I don’t know if that happened on the day of the actual crash…
id any of you realized that why only females were lead or main center in this episode….captain, air traffic controller, lead investigator, the 18 yr old girl, fire fighter leader, and the mother of the girl….mainly its focused on women’s….maybe its coincidence or delibrate…who knows……anyways thanks for uploading

maintenance jobs at some airlines is a real shocker to be honest. FAA should check them out regulary to ensure the planes are properly maintained. My condolences to the victims and their family.
Thanks for uploading. A good episode this for sure. Shows how important correct stats are eh? If the plane had not been overloaded in weight the deficient tail flap would have been able to still control the plane.
RIP the victims.
My sympathies go out to the familes concerned.
This was fairly recent too - only 2003.

the video isn’t the real thing, so the only ting you discovered is a mistake in the reinactment
obviously the mother of the girl is going to be a female isnt she

This is terrible. The same weight problem caused the death of Aaliyah back in 2001! And it was not rectified then!
